If you've never experienced a sunrise in our western states and the hues that come from the prairie, the blue, blue skies and all of those awesome colors and shades that come from the rising sun against a high prairie landscape or those gorgeous reds, golds and oranges from the sunset. Where the horizon encompasses the whole sky, this quilt will take you there. Our inspiration for the Dakota Quilts patterns came from a book of block drawings featuring design fragmentation from Jinny Beyer dating back several years, thus creating the Dakota Quilts Collection.  Skill level is intermediate.

You'll love our e-mail patterns. The pattern sets are FREE. We send them by e-mail after you purchase your kit. Then you may print them from your computer and not have to go to a copy shop or scan the pattern pieces. You also can study the pattern thoroughly while waiting for the fabrics to arrive. You also save the price of the pattern by using your ink and paper and we can sell you the kit for less money! You also have the pattern pieces to re-print in case you miscut or destroy a pattern piece or we don't care if you share them with a friend or quilt club.
